Introducing Manicured by The Beauty Place: Our Dedicated Nail Lounge in Hove

Earlier this summer, we opened Manicured by The Beauty Place, our new dedicated nail lounge in Hove.

It's actually been open for a couple of months now, so this introduction is probably a little overdue! But after all the work that went into creating the space, we wanted to properly introduce Manicured and explain a little more about why we decided to open it.

We've always been very conscious that anything we add to The Beauty Place needs to feel right for us. If we were going to offer nails, we wanted to create a proper space for them and do it to the standard our clients expect from The Beauty Place.

And that's where Manicured came from.

Why Manicured?

We've been looking after clients at The Beauty Place since 2013, and over that time the clinic has changed and developed enormously.

When the opportunity came up to take on the space next door, it gave us the chance to create something we'd been thinking about for a while – a dedicated area for nails that still felt very much part of TBP.

From there, Manicured by The Beauty Place began to take shape – a dedicated nail lounge with its own identity, while still very much connected to The Beauty Place.

It operates with the same standards, attention to detail and approach to client care as the rest of the clinic.

We wanted it to feel relaxed and comfortable, but still professional. Somewhere you can come in for a regular manicure or pedicure, but where the treatment itself – and the condition of your natural nails – is taken seriously too.

What can you book at Manicured?

Whether it's a fresh set of beautifully finished nails, regular maintenance or a little more time to switch off and enjoy the experience, our manicure and pedicure menu gives you plenty of choice.

For hands, we offer Gel Manicures and BIAB, with Express, Classic and Luxury options available depending on what you'd like from your appointment.

For feet, you can choose from our Express, Classic and Luxury Gel Pedicures, as well as our Clinical Pedicure – a more results-focused treatment for anyone wanting extra attention paid to hard skin and the overall condition and appearance of their feet.

If you already have gel or BIAB on your nails, removal can simply be added to your appointment. We allow different timings for removal depending on whether your existing product was applied by us or elsewhere, so that your nail technician has the time needed to remove it properly before beginning your new treatment.

From a quick refresh to a more indulgent appointment – or something more results-focused – you can choose the treatment that best suits what you need.

For feet, there are Express, Classic and Luxury Gel Pedicures, so you can choose between a straightforward appointment to get your toes looking lovely or spend a little longer with us for a more comprehensive pedicure.

We've also introduced a Clinical Pedicure, which has a slightly different focus.

This is much more results-led and is ideal if your priority is hard skin and getting your feet looking and feeling noticeably better, rather than simply having your toes painted.

The Manicured Experience

We wanted Manicured to feel like somewhere you'd actually look forward to spending time.

You can pop in for an Express appointment when you simply need your nails done, or choose a Classic or Luxury treatment when you'd like a little more time and attention.

And while Manicured has its own name and its own dedicated space, it is still very much part of The Beauty Place.

The same standards apply. The same focus on client care applies. And, just as with our skin and beauty treatments, we'd much rather give honest advice about what is right for your nails than simply offer a treatment because it's available.
